Session content

Reason for referral: writing difficulties and motor clumsiness since CE1. Laterality poorly established, body schema to be clarified.

Clinical observations

Mood improving. Sleep stabilized. Anticipatory anxiety better regulated.

Plan / Follow-up

Graduated exposure. Continue thought journal. Follow-up in 15 days.

“A psychomotor assessment used to take me 4 hours. Delta saves me 2h30 on each one — and the quality of my clinical writing has improved.”

LM
Louise M. · 7 yo
Session 3 · psychomotor assessment in progress
Previous session

Parental anamnesis completed. Pronounced gestural clumsiness. Uncertain laterality, apprehension of writing. Good cooperation.

Longitudinal memory

In S2, Louise showed significant tonic dissociation — DCD hypothesis to explore.

  • Patient context in 10 seconds

Clear summary, points to revisit, objectives — to start the session immediately.

  • Longitudinal memory

Delta connects the threads between sessions. What was raised in S3 resurfaces at the right moment.

  • A caseload under control

Whether you follow 15 or 60 patients, every record finds its own psychomotor context, instantly.

02 During the session

Focus on your patient. Delta documents.

  • Automatic notes + your annotations

Delta writes the documentation. You add your clinical impressions — what AI can't capture for you.

  • Visible clinical threads

Anamnesis elements are structured in real time: history, reason, complaints, context — ready to integrate into the assessment.

  • Discreet transcription

The session unfolds normally. Your hands guide, correct, demonstrate — no keyboard between you and the patient.

Your assessments written, in a few minutes.

Reason & anamnesis

Gestural clumsiness and writing difficulties reported since CE1. Laterality poorly established, fatigability with graphic effort. No neurological history.

Psychomotor profile

BHK: handwriting speed & quality deficient (−2 SD). M-ABC: weak overall coordination, borderline fine motor skills. Partial body schema. High background tone.

Conclusion & recommendations

Profile consistent with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). Weekly psychomotor follow-up recommended. School accommodations (PAP).

Frequently asked questions from psychomotor therapists.

Everything you need to know before getting started.

Is Delta suited to the psychomotor assessments I carry out?
Yes. Delta offers templates adapted to psychomotor assessments for each audience: child (DCD, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, ASD), adult (anxiety, chronic pain, psychosomatic) and senior (Parkinson's, falls, body schema). You can integrate the standardized tests you use — BHK, M-ABC, NP-MOT, Charlop-Atwell, Lincoln-Oseretsky, Rey figure, Bender, Stambak test — and personalize each template according to your methodology.
Do I need to inform my patients? And how?
Yes, informing the patient (or the parents for a minor) is required by GDPR. As a psychomotor therapist — a healthcare profession regulated by a State Diploma — you don't need to collect formal written consent: Article 9.2.h of the GDPR allows the processing of health data by a professional bound by professional secrecy. Verbal information at the start of the session and a poster in the waiting room are enough.

In practice, Delta provides you with an informative poster to put in your practice or waiting room, indicating that you use Delta for anamnesis, observations and assessment writing. This is the approach used by the leading tools in the market.

If you want to go further, you can mention Delta verbally at the start of the first session — some clinicians prefer this direct transparency. The patient (or the parents) can always refuse: in that case, you take notes manually as before. Delta remains entirely optional, session by session.
Are my assessments confidential vis-à-vis my patients?
Absolutely. Your assessments in progress and your session notes are strictly private. Patients have no direct access. The final version of the assessment stays in your hands — you decide what you share back and with whom. Professional secrecy is fully respected.
Can I use Delta in teleconsultation?
Yes. Delta works just as well in-person as in teleconsultation, via your computer microphone, your video tool (Doctolib, Livi, Qare, etc.), or your phone. Audio is automatically deleted within 24h after transcription.
Does Delta respect the code of ethics for psychomotor therapists?
Yes. Delta is designed in compliance with the psychomotor therapists' code of ethics (OPPE). Informed consent of the patient (or their legal representatives) is always obtained (Delta provides a poster and a model verbal mention), professional secrecy is preserved, data is hosted in France with a certified HDS provider, and you keep full control over what is kept or deleted.
How does Delta handle clinical supervision?
Delta helps you prepare your supervisions: you can generate an anonymized synthesis of a clinical case in one click, with the structured history, evolutions and your questions. No more starting from scratch the day before each supervision.
Can I import my old assessments and patient records?
Yes. Delta allows you to import your old records (Word notes, PDF, or manual entries) so that clinical memory starts with the existing history. We support you for free on this step when you upgrade to the Pro plan.
What happens if I stop using Delta? Can I get my records back?
Your records belong to you. At any time, you can export all your assessments, notes and patient histories in PDF or structured format (JSON). After cancellation, you have 90 days to retrieve your data before final deletion.

No technical lock-in: your documents remain readable outside of Delta, and your clinical memory can be re-imported elsewhere if needed.
Does Delta work for progress reports?
Yes, this is actually one of Delta's biggest wins. The longitudinal memory keeps the initial assessment and every follow-up session. At 6 or 12 months, Delta highlights the progress (fine motor skills, coordination, body schema, graphomotor skills…), the objectives reached and the remaining areas. You can also import your old Word or PDF assessments to build up the history.
